“In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all thing was made; without him nothing was made that has been made” John 1:1-3 “The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and only, who came from the father, full of grace and truth” John 1:14“I and the Father are one” John 10:30
Too many discussions are being raised in regard to the issue of the existence of Jesus Christ. Many ask if He is really a God or He is only a man. Some of them are convinced that He is only Son of God and nothing more than human. But, there is huge BUT. If these kinds of convictions are not based upon the Bible as an inerrant God’s word they are in vain and worthless.
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.” Colossians 1:15-18
In the book of prophet Isaiah meaning “The Lord saves”, (the greatest prophet has ever lived), 740 years before Christ, he wrote: “The Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel (which means “God is with you” m. r.) “ Isaiah 7:14 “And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting father, Prince of peace” Isaiah 9:6
This prophecy was fully implemented and precisely confirmed. It was proved in a plenty of events in the New Testament.
Jesus came on earth in body to show us, with personal example, how we should behave in order to please God, through faith in his name. Jesus told us: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him” John 14:6-9 “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus; who being in very nature God…being made in human likeness.” Philippians 2:5
Jesus himself said in the Bible “…anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me…?” John 14:9-10”…even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” John 10:38
